POSTCARDS FOR SALE

PLEASE NOTE THAT  THE SITE MAP IS NOW UP TO DATE AND CAN BE USED AS A QUICK LINK TO THE SUB-PAGES, BUT PLEASE READ THE NOTE AT THE TOP OF IT

THIS IS NOW A LARGE SITE WITH OVER 650 PAGES OF CARDS (& WE STILL HAVE MANY 1000's OF CARDS TO ADD)

LATEST ADDITIONS

NOV 30th - I've started the mammoth task of
a) checking I still have every card (as I find them I will change the writing to Blue (so I definitely have these)
b) removing dates, NEW and deleting SOLD cards
c) updating the links
d) adding the 2,000 cards that haven't been written up yet
I will do this alphabetically. As my cards are in 2 places - Fair stock and web stock - I will have to go through all the counties twice before I am finished

NOV 19th - Tyne & Wear totally revamped and 100+ cards added. In future, all links from a county page to a town (e.g. Tyne & Wear to Newcastle) will pop up as a new window as I process each county. Just shut that window to return to the county.
OCT 31st - Salmon lists updated
OCT 11th - lots of Rochdale added
OCT 5th - lots of Nelson & Burnley added
SEPT 29th - Valentines Art list updated
                   - I am currently working on the Lancashire cards
SEPTEMBER - All topo cards taken off Delcampe - the foreign, subject and art cards remain there. In future UK topos will only appear on this website.
SEPT 14th - the Scotland cards are about to disappear for a while and I'm suspending sales of Lancs cards whilst I sort them all out
SEPT 2nd - I am currently adding images for all the Valentines Art cards (up to A900 so far)
AUGUST 8th - 100 new unknowns added (those numbered 300-399)

AUGUST - over 7000 cards now on Delcampe including all the Oilettes (& artists such as Bridgeman, Newton, Longstaffe, Cubley, Jenkins & Jotter).
I hope to add all my Charles Flower, Breanski and Wimbushes soon.

Please note that this site is mainly for pre-1960 cards. I also have 30,000 post 1960 cards - please mention whether you want moderns when asking for your area.

At present, this website will provide a set of 'Sales Pages with pictures' to supplement my original website at www.sjones41.freeserve.co.uk
All postcards displayed here are for sale unless specified SOLD to the right of the image, but please contact us first to check availability.
This site will grow and change rapidly so please keep looking.
This (12000 cards) represents less than 25% of my stock
I aim to eventually get images of all old cards on display. If you can't see what you're looking for, please e-mail me - they are not all here by a long way. You can either e-mail me via the Contact Us page or at sjones@sjones41.freeserve.co.uk
I live in Lancashire, England.
I can accept payment for any cards by Paypal or by UK cheque (please do not send cash - it gets 'lost' in the post). I do not have facilities for credit cards (other than through Paypal, which seems to take about 8-10 days)
For postal details and charges please refer to the Contact Us  page.

Please buy with confidence - if you're unhappy and think the card has faults not described then I do offer a full refund. I describe any faults, however minor.

The links on the left relate to each County page. As the county boundaries keep changing its difficult to locate cards where everyone can find them. The Bartholomews I use is 20 years old so it doesn't include Counties such as Hunts, Rutland etc, but does include Avon, Cleveland, Tyne & Wear, West Midlands. I have included these - but not Humberside, which no one seemed to like.

On each page are a set of images. For each image I have shown:
The exact caption
RP = real photo types, others are printed
The Publisher - where known
Dates are dates of postal usage (when used) or a reasoned estimate
The Condition - all faults described
Price
The images are deliberately low resolution for two reasons:
   a) to be able to fit more on the site
   b) to prevent image theft

WRITING A LOCAL HISTORY BOOK?
I can supply high quality images of all these cards (600 dpi) - and a lot more - at only 10% of the cost of the card (minimum 50p). Please ask for details
